The Lady Cougars Soccer Squad captured its 3rd consecutive Region 16 Championship (2022, 2023, 2024), 2nd Consecutive Central District Championship (2023, 2024), and 2nd Consecutive MCCAC Conference Championship (2023, 2024) this Fall 2024. SCC made a run through the Region 16 Tournament with 6-1 Quarterfinal win over State Fair, a 1-0 Semifinal win over Metropolitan, and a thrilling 1-0 double OT win over St Louis to hoist the trophy. The Cougars proceeded to defeat National Park 5-0 in the Central District Championship match to qualify for the NJCAA National Championships in Huntsville, Alabama. 

 

As a #12 seed out of 12 teams in the National Tournament, the Cougars upset #8 Scottsdale 2-1 to advance for chance at a trip to Final 4. The Cougars took #1 Northwest Mississippi to Overtime before they were defeated on a golden goal in the last 3 minutes of the match. Northwest Mississippi went on the win the 2024 National Championship title. SCC ended the season with a record of 16-2-2 and its 2nd consecutive Elite 8 finish at Nationals.
