The SCC Women's soccer team had good week of solid performances.  The squad is improving each match by playing excellent team soccer.

On Wednesday, the Lady Cougars picked up their first win of the year in an important Region 16 match up with the East Central Falcons.  The Cougars controlled possession and took a 2-0 lead deep into the second half.  The Falcons scored late but the Cougars held on for a 2-1 win.

Then on Saturday, the team took a 1-0 lead on the #19 ranked State Fair Roadrunners and eventually held on in double OT for a 1-1 draw.  The Cougars had numerous chances to add more goals and the defense was stout haulting the Roadrunners attack.

The Cougars sit at 1-1-1 in Region 16 play.
