Our St. Charles Community College Esports team kicked off its spring competition season this week.  

This spring, our Esports will be competing in a total of 6 games between the PlayVS College League and NJCAA Tier 3. The games include Marvel Rivals, Overwatch 2, Valorant, Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, and League of Legends.  

For week 1, the Cougars faced off in 4 of these games. Overall, the team had a successful start to the season. The Overwatch team, specifically, showed up strong by winning all three of their matchups.

PlayVS College League 

Valorant Varsity: 2-0 win over the University of Alberta 

Valorant JV: 1-2 loss to the University of Redlands 

Rainbow 6: 2-0 win over Wayland Baptist University  

NJCAAE Tier 3 League 

Marvel Rivals: 0-3 loss to Herkimer College 

Overwatch: 3-0 win over Western Technical College 

    3-0 win over Southwest Wisconsin Technical College 

    3-0 win over Umpqua Community College
